Data & privacy
This guide works without registration and offers optional Google sign-in. This notice covers Wishlist saves, address tips, ratings and transcript links.
What is public
Your chosen nickname appears in interest lists, address tips, ratings and transcript links. Submitted addresses, notes, ratings, transcript URLs and titles, and update times are public. Without a nickname, you appear as “Anonymous visitor.” Your full Wishlist is accessible through a sharing link only after you enable sharing, which you can turn off.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google verifies your account. This site stores your account identifier and email to identify the account and show your private sign-in status. Google names and photos are not used as public nicknames, and emails are not public. No access to Gmail, contacts, calendars or Drive is requested.
The first sign-in merges your anonymous saves, address tips, ratings and transcript links into your Google account. Duplicate saves are combined; the newest address and rating per event are kept, along with all transcript links. Existing accounts keep their nickname. The merged anonymous identity’s old recovery and sharing links stop working; you can create a new sharing link.
Storage and controls
Data is stored in Cloudflare Workers and D1. Your browser stores anonymous or sign-in credentials; the server stores credential hashes. Google sessions last 30 days. Signing out revokes this device’s session without deleting saved records.
You can change your nickname, remove saves, withdraw your address tips, ratings and transcript links, and turn off sharing. Anonymous visitors can use their private recovery link on another device; after linking Google, sign in with the same account to restore your records.
To limit abuse, the service counts hourly hashes derived from source IPs and does not store raw IP addresses in the database. Google sign-in loads only when you choose to sign in. Map links open Google Maps only when clicked. Transcript links open third-party websites only when clicked; this site does not fetch transcript contents or store recording files.
